The year 2020 came with a truckload of ups and downs; it was a year many wished never repeats itself. That year took away our norm and forced us to adjust to the new normal. Undoubtedly, one of the things this virus affected is events/celebrations, as avoiding gatherings was one of the mandatory guidelines experts recommended. Kids are adorable, and they love to receive plenty of love and affection. One way to show them how priceless they are is how you treat them on their birthdays. Since covid 19 has disrupted plans and celebration doesn’t go on as usual, here are few things to do to make your youngster’s birthday worthwhile.

  1. Get your kid a nice outfit: Looking elegant and awe-inspiring on one’s big day is non-debatable; it is important. While choosing an outfit for your kid, affordability and quality should be one of the factors to consider. Check out some of our dresses that are perfect for all occasions (birthdays, photoshoot, weddings, etc.) below:

  1. Make a birthday cake: Make or order a beautiful and yummy cake for your kid; you may also include other treats to share around in case few people visited.

  1. Create a theme: Decide on the theme before D-day. There are several ways to make your kid’s big day colourful; this includes but is not limited to putting up balloons, wearing certain costumes or make-up, designing the room or the party area, and using led lights to make the event more lit.

  1. Plan fun games: Children love games; trying it on your kid’s birthday will lit up his/her mood even more and make the event more entertaining. Some parents, while making preparations for their kids’ birthday, order items for games. These include; Musical chairs, Tic-tac-toe, Bubble wrap races, etc. You can also participate in the games, having fun knows no age. Lol!

  1. Go virtual: Covid 19 might have affected some things, but not the internet. Virtual parties are fun, too, if well planned. Most of the activities listed above, including games, can be performed during a virtual party too. Decide on which platform you would love to connect with your invitees and inform them before your kid’s birthday.

  1. Buy some birthday gifts: It’s a perfect day to give your kid that thing he/she has always wanted. One of the best kind of gift to go for are educational gifts that can keep your kid busy during this lockdown.
